| Setting geo position |
Now days we are very familiar with WGS 84 coordinate system which is used by many GPS devices. WGS 84 is unprojected coordinate system (we are talking about degrees not meters). Maps download can easily navigate to geo position. We only set latitude and longitude and then press button Apply position in navigator window. Bellow we can also see coordinates of top/left, center and bottom/right of map window. Values we can select and copy to clipboard. |

| How to switch between map providers |
As it show picture we can easily select map from drop down menu. When selection is made in map window at current position shows map from selected map provider. |
| How to zoom in/out |
We can zooming by ruler on navigator window or dynamically by mouse scroll in map window. Note: it could be difference in zoom levels depend on current maps provider. |
| Setting map size (BMP) |
In navigator window on map size tab we can easily define width and height of map window. That also means that we define size of bimap - BMP in pixel. When we insert values we press apply map size button. |
| Preview and print |
If you click open button at the top of navigator, you can see preview of map or print it to your printer. |

| Navigation and store BMP files |
picture below shows navigator control. With direction button we can move map to any of 8 directions. By pressing to any button you change position exactly for width or height of map. Before downloading you have to check also the store location - folder to which bitmaps will be stored. The file name of bitmap consist from three parts: Prefix, counter for X direction and counter for Y direction. Prefix we can use to make group of files. Counter X and counter Y change automatically after any request using navigation buttons. |
For example we can first press save button - that's mean that file ym_0_0.bmp was created. Then we can press right/bottom navigation button. Maps change position and then we can press save button and the new file ym_1_1.bmp was created . |

| Setting description file |
Because we checked option Create description file also jgw file created. Jgw store description of stored bitmap according description of template. Often we used top left position to define part of projected map. With Maps download you can create custom description files - you can simply edit template. As you can see there are two tags <#WX> and <#WY> which are used as variables and define top left corner of the map. You can use also UTM coordinate for top left corner, so you can use tags <#UX> and <#UY> |
So if we look example of template in red frame and if we open file ym_1_1.jgw - we can se actual result of template in notepad. So, for every bitmap which is created in store location also jgw file is created - called also as world file. |
